Brethren of Vengeance - Guild Policy

Guild Objective:
To enjoy the game in its entire splendor, while giving a fun and enjoyable home to people from all walks of life and catering from our casual member's right through to our hardcore end game content runners.

Guild By-Laws:
Do's and Don'ts
1. While in the BoV guild, we ask that everyone be kind and considerate to other guild members. This will make your gaming experience more enjoyable for you and for others.

2. Its perfectly fine to debate with other guild members in guild chat or vent - just be careful that it doesn't turn into an argument. If an argument erupts and hasn't been taken care of by you or the other person (or persons), it will be dealt with in a disciplinary fashion by any Officer on-line and thus will be discussed between all Officers and GL.

3. Have fun. World of Warcraft is just a game. Enjoy the people around you and/or in the guild. We are all here paying for the game to keep us entertained. Your gaming experience is based on what you make of it. If you feel that you aren't getting what you want out of the game or guild - feel free to talk to an Officer. There might be something we can help to make your gaming experience more pleasurable.

4. Any demeaning or derogatory comments directed at any guild member, have never been and never will be accepted within BoV and members found caught in the act will be dealt with swiftly, up to and not limited to de-guilding.

Disciplinary Actions
This area of the Do's and Don'ts are very clear. If you go against the By-Laws for what ever reason, bring dishonor or disrespect to the BoV guild, or behave in a fashion unbecoming of a BoV member, you will be given a warning from an Officer. Following this, if you continue you will be booted from the guild - end of story.

Yes, World of Warcraft is just a game. However, every guild in the game goes by reputation. BoV has built a good standing within the game and wants to continue to be apart of the World of Warcraft. Therefore, BoV will protect itself from guild members and non guild members (where warranted).

Guild Forums
As a member of BoV we expect all our new and old members to have an active account on our forums. On a regular basis a lot of news and information can be found on them at any one given time, so it is critical that everyone is staying in the loop. The forums are a great tool for everyone to also voice their thoughts and opinions about matters and ideas for BoV, however this is to be done in a reasonable manner - arguing in the forums will not be tolerated.

While on the forums, we EXPECT all BoV members to behave in a matter which is no way derogatory or demeaning to either a fellow BoV member or random person (in the public section), failure to do this will result in disciplinary action as previously stated.

End Game
We understand that a lot of members are highly passionate about end game content and as such frustrations can get very high at particular times during these runs. However, I want to remind you that behind every character is a person doing the best of their current ability, so class and character bashing will not be tolerated - anyone found intentionally criticizing fellow members through out the course of an end game run, will face the following disciplinary actions:

Warning from Officers
Kicked from Current Raid
Kicked from BoV

Guild Looting Rules:
1.) Members Main on spec, on class
(Examples leather healing goes to resto druid)
2.) Recruits Main on spec on class
(Examples mail healing goes to resto shaman)
3.) Members Alt on spec, on class
(Examples leather DPS goes to rogue, druid)
4.) Members/Recruits off spec
(Examples Plate Tank Gear to healing pally)

You will be awarded one pieces of loot per run till all other on spec on class receive one also (example if we have 3 Caster DPS in the party, and a Caster DPS item drops caster A wins the roll caster A is out of the roll on the next Caster DPS item that drops until caster B and caster C both receive a Caster DPS item on that run,, does not carry over from day to day.

Tier items are excluded, if it drop and it is for your class u have a open roll on it.

Now something to think about even if you win the roll you can still pass the item to a lower geared person, so keep in mind, you might want to inspect who you are rolling against cause if u have a epic and they have a green you might want to pass to them, you will never be made to pass, but the better geared we are as a whole guild the farther we will progress and the easier it will become.
